When Keith Zimmerman was asked by good friend Oscar Robertson to create a lithograph celebrating his selection as College Player of the Century, Ted Watts was the obvious artist of choice. Watts has been the artist who has painted every Heisman Award Winner in history with his originals hanging at the College Football Hall of Fame in South Bend, Indiana. Watts has also painted every All American at the Universities of Kansas and Oklahoma as well as many other historic programs. As Ted Watts celebrates his 40th year as a sports artist and turns the young age of 65, he has teamed with DDSE to celebrate his great career with a team effort to promote his past works as well create new works of art. Watt's has more than 300 original paintings that will be put up for sale later in 2008. Visit Ted's web site to learn more.
In addition, the collaboration with DDSE will include corporate and team sponsored murals on buildings and stadiums/arenas, the release of a coffee table book, special events and promotions including the sports extravaganza produced by DDSE and a legends series of Watts' past work.
